Why Muinin? A few pretty cool reasons, I think. First, in homage to my family and ancestry, the Irish/Gaelic translation of Muinin = trust, confidence. I’ve an uncanny ability to remember literally the smallest of countless details as well as both faces and names, yet often cannot recall where I parked my car or where I put my keys, hence, the Norse translation = memory. It fit just perfectly!

Legally, as a Licensed Insurance Agent, I’m not permitted to reach out to prospective clients, they must reach out to me. For this reason, spreading the word thru friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and more, is integral to my business. After spending the last 27 years in the Medicare industry, most recently as a regional sales director for a Fortune 5 insurance carrier, helping brokers build their businesses and support their clients, I knew I wanted something more. I realized my passion was ultimately to our members and helping them understand Medicare plans and what would best meet their needs. TThat led me to making the most rewarding change in my professional career, from helping brokers, to becoming an independent Licensed insurance agent working directly with my own clients!

My extensive Medicare industry experience and long-standing carrier and provider relationships has proven to be invaluable when it comes to helping my clients. To ensure I am current with all things Medicare-related, I’m a long-standing member of several industry groups and organizations, I complete continuing education to maintain my licenses, complete annual carrier and licensing certifications and carefully analyze benefit changes year-over-year. I have found my client needs are best served by offering many top-rated Medicare insurance carriers providing a spectrum of Medicare Advantage (HMO, HMO-POS, HMO-PPO & PPO, Special Needs Plans), Medicare Supplement (Medigap) and Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs).

Medicare at any age, can be confusing and each of us are unique, so not only do I help empower my client’s Medicare understanding, I also strive to understand my client’s specific situations and needs. Together we find the right coverage solution, and sometimes that can mean not electing Part B and staying within Employer Group Health Plan (EGHP) coverage.
